Niseko Named #2 on National Geographic's List of "Places to Go to Enjoy the Great Outdoors"

"Niseko, Japan" was ranked # 2 on National Geographic's list of "9 Places to Go to Enjoy the Great Outdoors" , published on September 26th. The full list of places featured is as follows:

  2. Niseko, Japan
  3. El Chaltén, Argentina
  4. Ely, Minnesota
  5. Cairns, Australia
  6. Manali, India
  7. Huaraz, Peru
  8. Hogsback, South Africa
  9. Valbona, Albania

According to the article, Niseko is famed not only for being one of the best up-and-coming ski towns in the world, but also for winter surfing and great food to warm you up afterwards!
