Watch The Weight of Winter Here In Niseko

Follow these three wanderers as they push forward through the elements of a Niseko and Hokkaido winter in the backcountry.

We are loving this video release featuring the amazingly talented skiers Stephan Drake, Piers Solomon, and Santiago Guzman as they free ski the slopes right here in Niseko and around Hokkaido.

What is the Weight of Winter? According to these riders, its the incredible winter force pressing down on them as they push forward through a massive snowstorm that takes over Hokkaido. It's the "blindness of an elemental world".

We think the results are pretty stunning with plenty of beautiful slow motion action as the riders carve out their own unique paths down the snowy peaks around Niseko. The "weight" of winter looks pretty good to us!
