New Year’s Eve Torchlight Skiing & Fireworks
Celebrate the new year by joining the torchlight festivities on the slopes at Hirafu.
How are you going to celebrate the New Year? What better way to bring in the new year with your friends by watching or joining in the action of torchlight skiing from the base of the mountain at Grand Hirafu Resort, Hirafu Village!
Torchlight skiing, which started at Grand Hirafu with only a handful of people, now proudly celebrates its 41st anniversary this year. All skiing participants will be in with a chance to win great prizes in the new year’s lucky draw!
For those watching on then you're in for a real treat when the mountain lights up with the torch skiers coming down the mountain at 12am on January 1st, 2017, followed by the New Year's fireworks on at 12.15am.
