Niseko's Best Spring Après Spots

Cheers! Prost! Gan Bei! Salud! Santé! Or here in Japan... Kanpai!!

No matter the language you speak, a post ski drink (or two) in the sun with friends is a universal favourite alpine pastime. Here are Niseko's best places to grab a drink, some nibbles and share the day's on-and-off-piste tales.

Temporada

Temporada 2 Lr

Let the good times roll at Temporada, the new restaurant located in the Shiki building in Hirafu. When the sun is shining, the team at Temporada set up tables and chairs outside on the balcony, allowing you to indulge in a few après beverages and some snacks from their impressive Spanish-tapas menu while still in your ski-boots. A regular line-up of local musicians set the vibes in motion.

Bo-yo-so

Boyoso

Bo-yo-so is an on-mountain restaurant which serves up some of the best Japanese cuisine in Niseko and affordable draft beer too. Located just above the Holiday Pair Lift on the Gondola side of Niseko Grand Hirafu, enjoy a spring morning in the snow, then sneak in for an early lunch of ramen, soba noodles, udon noodles or a tempura rice bowl and maybe a beer as well before a few more laps in the afternoon!

Kumo Restaurant

Kumo Restaurant Bar

For some of the best après-ski happy-hour prices in town, look no further than Kumo Restaurant. Located at the Skye Niseko hotel, this is one of the few true ski-in ski-out restaurants in town, which makes it incredibly convenient when you need to quench that thirst quick! Packed full of atmosphere, try their Burning Mandarin cocktail, a top-shelf whisky or a frosty cold Sapporo Classic from the tap.

Mick's Bar

Micks Chalkboard 99 Chance Of Wine Lr

When the ski day stops, the fun starts at Niseko institution, Mick's Bar. Mick himself has been in Niseko for decades, and his wine bar has become a fan-favourite drawing a loyal crowd of locals and tourists each winter. Formerly known as Niseko Wine Cellars, Mick's stocks a range of wines, whiskys and craft beers to keep the party going until late.
