Snow Falls, Winter Calls
Earlier than expected snowfall on Mt Yotei's peak has Niseko excited about the upcoming winter.
September snowfall is quite uncommon in the northern hemisphere, Niseko included.
But this year, we have an exception on our hands, with news coming down from the Mt Yotei summit hut of overnight snowfall on Tuesday September 18th.
Opportunistic climbers took the chance to boil fresh Mt Yotei snow for a cup of coffee!

First snowfall last season occurred on October 3rd, and that was followed by one of our heaviest snow seasons on record. Fingers crossed - we could be in for more of the same this season.
