As Winter 2018/19 season approaches quickly, look forward to months of fun in the snow as the resort transforms into a winter playground. Get excited for the coming season with activities on the slopes and in town. Here are some of the best ways to enjoy the most of November. 

Ski Lifts Open

Skiing

Niseko Grand Hirafu and Niseko Annupuri resort are scheduled to open (weather depending) on Friday, 23 November. Niseko Village and Niseko Hanazono are scheduled to open only a week later on Saturday, 1 December. Enjoy early season turns during November and the fresh snow slopes.

As one of the most popular yoga providers in Niseko, Powder Yoga Niseko returns for Winter 2018/19 season. They will be returning with new instructors, more classes, guest teachers as well as new courses suitable for beginners.

Kumo Restaurant

Preparing for the winter, restaurants in Hirafu village will begin winter operation with local favourites such as Bombay Sizzler, Niseko Ramen and The Alpinists staying opening for late hours. New restaurants including Kumo Restaurant and Kobe Tei will be ready for their first winter season.

Mt. Youtei Jazz Concert

Mt Youtei Jr Jazz School

Liven up the evening by seeing the fantastic performance by local junior jazz school, Mt. Youtei Junior Jazz along with David Matthews and the Sapporo Jazz Ambitious band. Performing for only one night, this is an event not to be missed.
