Koikawa Ryokan Onsen

Koikawa Ryokan Onsen Rotenburo Autmun Momiji

Operating as an onsen and ryokan, traditional Japanese inn, since 1899, Koikawa Ryokan Onsen is one of the oldest onsen in the Niseko area. The old onsen is a unique step back in time, featuring small and simple bathing pools one indoor and one outdoor for both men and women bathing sides. The waters are sourced from a naturally occurring spring that bubbles up steaming hot water that is rich in sodium, chloride, magnesium, calcium, hydrogen carbonate, and sulfuric acid.

The naturally chemical-rich waters are particularly great for those with high blood pressure or risk of stroke as the waters help to sooth the body and ease blood flow. The outdoor routenburo is cut with clear, fresh water to increase its transparency for outdoor bathers. The secluded onsen is encapsulated in nature, offering beautiful landscapes to ponder while soaking in each of the four seasons.
