Winter 2017/18 opening day here in Niseko and we're excited!

The first day of the Winter 2017/18 season and while no fresh snow to report this morning we are feeling super pumped with the ski lifts now rolling for a terrific season ahead.

With record November snowfall hitting Niseko over the past week, there is a solid base for more snow forecast in the coming days.

It's all smiles with Niseko Grand Hirafu opening today.

The temperature recorded this morning was -3 degrees Celsius. Here's to a great opening day out on the slopes.
