Iwanai Dotou Fireworks Festival

With over 5,000 fireworks expected to launched near the Sea of Japan, this is an event not to miss. Iwanai Town's summer fireworks festival is one of the largest fireworks displays in the area. The two-day festival is held at the town's port and the fireworks are launched up into the night sky along the coast.

Throughout both days, fun games and food can be enjoyed. There are an assortment of live stage performances from local performers, including a number of traditional dances. There is also a a special collection of unique Iwanai shops set up, known as 'Tarafuki Village'.
