Niseko is a fantastic place for stargazing. You don't need to go far to find a nice spot where there aren't any lights to block out the sky above. On clear nights in a truly dark spot, you can even see the Milky Way with the naked eye.

Niseko Star Fest is in it's second year running and this year the plans are to make it even better. To improve participants' view and further reduce light interference, the Annupuri Gondola is going to operate a special Night Gondola on the evening of 21 and 22 July.

Participants will be able to learn from the experts about the night sky and try using an astrological telescope. Whether you are an astronomy fan or merely seeking a romantic night under the stars, this is a great event to finish the day with.
