Miyoko and Takahide Sugimoto are winemakers whose Chateau Igai Takaha wine can be found on menus in Michelin starred restaurants, hotels, high class ryokans and more. Their wines are California-style wines, but are infused with a Japanese wabi-sabi sense of simplicity. They have enjoyed a steady flow of high ratings by wine critics around the globe, including a 95/100 rating by Robert Parker, one of the leading global wine critics.
