Hokkaido's Deep Vast Powder Snow In All Of It's Glory

A short snowboard film featuring the famous powder snow on the slopes of Hokkaido, Japan.

The pillowy, white powder snow that Japan's north island of Hokkaido is so famous for. Niseko is top on the list of getting a very good share of this famous snowfall.

When we saw this new film capturing the essence of surfing the snow and making those deep white cuts, we just had to share it! Here's a few words from the film's creator and featured rideo, Viktor Bjöenström.

"Snowboarding has changed for me over the years. It seems like I nowadays can find the same joy in a couple of turns as in stomping a trick I've never landed before, and maybe that's why this short film ended up the way it did. Without a plan for a film project the camera wasn't brought very often last season, but when it was, it was mostly during days with really good snow conditions, days when every turn makes you laugh."
