Ride Through Nature at Tokyu Grand Hirafu’s Mountain Bike Park!

In winter, the Niseko-Hirafu slopes are known for world-class skiing, but come summer, they transform into an exciting mountain bike park. With a range of well-maintained trails for all levels, from first-timers to experienced riders, it’s the perfect way to soak up Niseko’s great outdoors with a rush of speed and fresh mountain air. Bike rentals include a helmet and elbow/knee pads, so you can enjoy safely and stress-free, even if you arrive without gear.

To access the beginner course at the bottom of the Flow Trail, simply hop on the Holiday Lift. Take in the stunning summer views of the slopes and breathe in the fresh scent of the greenery, moments you definitely won’t forget.

The Skills Practice Area is a free-to-use training zone designed for beginner and intermediate riders (mountain bike rentals are available for a fee). You’ll spot it just to the right as you exit the rental building. Not quite ready to jump on the lift? No worries. Start here to get comfortable with your bike and ease into the experience.

From 19 July 2025, the summer gondola officially opens! This gives riders access to the upper section of the Flow Trail, where intermediate and advanced courses await. It’s the perfect zone for experienced riders looking for a real mountain biking challenge, packed with adrenaline and technical features.

If you are not into mountain biking, the gondola is also a great way to take in the views. At the top station, you’ll find walking paths and peaceful rest areas, ideal for soaking up the summer air and panoramic views of Mount Yotei.

At the Mountain Center Annex, you can rent both mountain bikes and road bikes. The lineup includes everything from high-performance MTBs ideal for the Flow Trail, to beginner-friendly models and kids’ bikes, perfect for families and first-timers.

All mountain bike rentals include a helmet and elbow/knee pads, so you can ride safely and easily.
