Spring is an awesome time to come to Niseko and we have said it before. There are a lot of different reasons to choose a vacation in Niseko during March and April over the powder peaks of January and February. (If you aren't sure and want a full winter breakdown to see when the best time to come to Niseko is, we have that too.)

One of the greatest aspects of the spring season is all of the savings to be had. We have put together a list of some of the deals this year to make it a bit easier for you!

Kids ski free!

That's right - come in March and kids can get free list passes, rentals and lessons!

Lift Tickets

Niseko United is offering free All-Mountain Passes to any children under 12 in March. Simply pay a 1,000 yen security deposit for the pass (which you get back when you return the card).

Lessons

For the third year running, GoSnow is offering free Ninja Kids and Yama Riders lessons when purchased along with an adult or private lesson. Check out the GoSnow deals page for the full description how it all works.

Accommodation Savings

March and April are great value for your Niseko visit - with cheaper accommodation rates and blue sky days it is a great time to come to Niseko and hit the slopes. Not only are accommodation providers offering their lowest nightly rates, but many of them are even offering additional discounts on top of that! We took a look and found discounts as high as 50% during these months at the following accommodation providers:

Ki Niseko

Chalet Ivy

MnK Niseko

Niseko Central

Holiday Niseko

Vacation Niseko

Sometimes hotels offer added value packs instead of discounts, like the free lift pass that comes with this deal through Nisade.

Merchandise - end of season specials

A lot of stores will have season's end sales on 2016 merchandise, so don't miss out on some extra savings when you are in the resort on a new set of boots or a new winter jacket. Timing and conditions of sales varies, sometimes they are time sales, other times that are simply from one day until the end of the season. Rhythm Snowsports currently has a Red-Dot sale running where items range from 20-30% off. The sale started February 10th and will be running until the end of the season.

Here is another good example from last winter season, where iGate Hirafu marked items down as much as 50% from the end of February until the end of the season. No confirmation on this yet, but it is likely that around the end of February or start of March many other retailers in the area will be offering end-of-season sales.

You might not get much use out of it this year but it will be perfectly good for next season when you are keen to hit the slopes in Niseko again!
