Warm Up With A Soup Curry from Tsubara Tsubara!
A great little place in Hirafu where you can warm up in winter after a day on the slopes.
Curry and soup lovers can rejoice because you can get both in just one bowl at quaint little Japanese restaurant, Tsubara Tsubara in Niseko town.
Just a short walk from central Hirafu, the soup curry and Japanese dining house specialises in hot soup with all the trimmings.
While most regular Japanese curry are often a thick consistency, the base of these curries are more so a broth, allowing the various local meats and vegetables to shine.
The "Tsumire" Curry (Japanese style meat ball) is popular with the locals with a good mix of melt-in-your-mouth vegetables like pumpkin, potato and mushroom, not to mention the scrumptious meatballs!
The Thick Slice Bacon Curry is another fan favourite with tender capsicum and tomato to get your taste buds singing. You can also choose exactly how hot you want your curry on a scale of 1-10; 1 for very mild to 10 for those who love steam coming out of their ears! There's also a variety of extras and toppers to suit your taste.
The staff are very welcoming and the restaurant has a relaxed vibe, which makes sense afterall with the name "Tsubara Tsubara" meaning "relax".
So why not stop by at Tsubara Tsubara, unwind and warm up with a big bowl of soup after a big day out on the slopes!
