Japan's low-cost carriers (LCC) are well-known for good service and budget-friendly prices! So it is good to hear that the domestic businesses are starting to look beyond Japan's borders! This coming September, Peach Airlines will be adding a direct route between Sapporo and Taipei which will be a major convenience for travellers from Taiwan. Rather than flying into Tokyo, visitors can fly in directly to Sapporo, saving a few hours or more each way.
The flight only takes 3 hours and fifteen minutes, which is not much longer than some domestic flights within Japan. The one-way tickets start at just over 8,000 yen (not including additional fees and taxes) and are to be released on May 24, 2017.
Peach Airlines didn't stop with just their new international line, they have also expanded domestic flights to Sapporo for this coming autumn. Perfect timing for anyone looking to put together an autumn trip to Japan. Catch the autumn leaves down in southern Japan and then fly up to Hokkaido to experience it all once again.
The two new domestic lines connect Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture and Fukuoka in Fukuoka Prefecture. Both major hubs for domestic travellers and big cities that see plenty of international travellers, the additional LCC lines could be a great way to save on your next trip to Japan in the coming autumn.
For further information about the new flights see Peach Airlines main website (Japanese only). Or book flights in English here.
Don't miss out on the amazing colours and freshly harvested food here in Niseko. See you in autumn!
