Not Just Your Typical Natural Yeast Bakery - Guzu Guzu

A great place to go sipping on a coffee and sampling the freshly baked goods

Located between Hirafu and Hanazono, Guzu Guzu is one of my favourite bakeries in town. It's a family run store in Niseko and it's atmosphere feels like a secret place for the locals to go to.

The name "Guzu Guzu" in Japanese means an action that happens in slow motion, which is the perfect way to describe this place: a charming wooden interior, the mix scent of freshly baked bread, pizza, coffee and relaxing, soulful music. No matter whether during summer or winter, the gorgeous views outside the cottage makes enjoying the delicious goods an even more enjoyable experience.

Aside from a menu of pizzas, sandwiches, and the daily skillet specials, the cakes and tarts are also to die for. Not to mention the Fluffy Dutch Baby, which is the Dutch pancake topped with either chocolate, fruit, and cream of your choice.
