Teaser Video: New Ski Film by Taiyo Nakanishi and Yasuyuki Shimanuki

Film maker Yasuyuki Shimanuki and skier Taiyo Nakanishi have teamed up to create a brand new Hokkaido based ski-film, launching this autumn. Watch the teaser!

Searching for the greatest skiing and the deepest powder snow in the Hokkaido wilderness, Shimanuki and Nakanishi spent over 6 months shooting this exciting new film. With support from ski apparel brand Haglofs, the two discovered the deepest powder skiing on a life-changing backcountry and camping adventure. 

The complete movie will be released in autumn 2019.
