Curry and soup lovers can rejoice because you can get both in just one bowl at quaint little Japanese restaurant, Tsubara Tsubara in Niseko town.

Just a short walk from central Hirafu, the soup curry and Japanese dining house specialises in hot soup with all the trimmings.

While most regular Japanese curry are often a thick consistency, the base of these curries are more so a broth, allowing the various local meats and vegetables to shine.

The "Tsumire" Curry (Japanese style meat ball) is popular with the locals with a good mix of melt-in-your-mouth vegetables like pumpkin, potato and mushroom, not to mention the scrumptious meatballs!

You can also choose exactly how hot you want your curry on a scale of 1-10; 1 for very mild to 10 for those who love steam coming out of their ears! There's also a variety of extras and toppers to suit your taste.
