Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival 2020

The Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival returns from 24th January to 16th February 2020. It is one of Hokkaido's most famous festivals and has been attracting visitors since 1979. During the event, many types of ice objects are showcased which shine in natural blue during daytime and at night feature colourful illuminations. The festival also boasts other events like ice slides and fireworks.
