First Snow on Mt Yotei for Winter 2018/19
Not long now until the entirety of Niseko is covered in what we all love, powder snow.
Only a week after sightings of snow bugs around town, the much anticipated winter snowfall has arrived at the peak of Mt Yotei. Early risers in Niseko woke up to the peak of Mt Yotei covered in a beautiful dusting of visible white snow.

With temperatures dropping below -2 degrees across mountain ranges in Hokkaido, Mt Yotei saw its first major snowfall at the peak. The first initial snowfall occurred on the summit of Mt Yotei on the 18th September.
