Check out Kutchan Town's summer matsuri, celebrating the potato harvest!
The 2019 edition of Jaga Matsuri in Kutchan town, is one of the year's biggest celebrations of the local hero crop: potatoes! Live music, dance groups, and street food accompanied the summer sun, setting in a brilliant pink as dancers took to the main street in their yukata. To top off the night, the town sent fireworks into the sky to accompany the rising moon and another amazing celebration of the potato harvest.
